Our challenge is to collect as many socks as possible by the end of the month and they will be donated to the Grayson Crisis Center! We have a campus wide challenge with our eight houses to see which house can collect the most socks! Only a few days left to help make an impact in our community!

Summit Hill Elementary School will celebrate Red Ribbon Week starting tomorrow! Our themes for the week are below!
Installation of a sewer line will begin on Monday connecting the Ponderosa Point development north of the high school to the existing city sewer on the south end of the HHS property. Construction will begin south of the high school and run north along Highway 5. There is an easement along our property, so they will be working on the high school site. Construction should take 2-3 weeks, and there will be times that the Highway 5 driveway will be blocked. However, any closures will be limited to a 10:00 am-2:00 pm timeframe on school days. The entrance will be open in the mornings and afternoons for school traffic and after school events. However, please be aware that there will be times that you may need to use the Ponderosa entrance/exit during the middle of the day.

If you pre-registered to attend the Family Lunch and Book Fair Bash, please see the directions that we will be implementing tomorrow. You will come to the main front doors and wait in front of the two doors on the left. Doors will be opened at each time listed below and you will be checked off as you enter. We will then direct you to the lunch tables where your student will meet you.

This week is Fire Prevention Safety Week and we had the Howe Fire Department come and talk about fire safety. This year's theme is Smoke Alarms: Make them work for you! We really appreciate the fire department coming out and sharing with our students!
