Howe High School's Principles of Health Science class recently did a project where students had to operate on pickles. They had to use proper directional terms, list body systems, and test and analyze the pH of the pickles.

Health Science fun! This watermelon activity covered multiple TEKS such as safety, teamwork and collaboration, and communication. There were five roles: the timer, medical records clerk, surgical team (2 students) and the chief surgeon. They had to rotate every two minutes. It was fun and delicious!
