💙 Happy Administrative Professionals Day! 💙

Today, our district leadership had the opportunity to take our incredible Administrative Assistants out to lunch as a small token of our appreciation.

These ladies are the heartbeat of our campuses and departments. They keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, support our staff and students, and are often the first friendly face you see when you walk through the door. Their dedication, organization, and care do not go unnoticed.

We are so grateful for all they do for Howe ISD each and every day.

Thank you for everything you do! 🐾 #BulldogPride

Teaching your child to identify trusted adults is key to their safety. Help them recognize people they can go to if they feel scared, unsafe, or unsure—like teachers, family friends, or other members of our community.

Reinforce that it’s always okay to ask for help, no matter the situation.

Keeping kids safe is a shared responsibility throughout the community. Adults play a key role in creating safe spaces, paying attention to warning signs, and speaking up when something doesn’t feel right. Always
remember: abuse is never a child’s fault—adults are
responsible.

Go Blue Child Abuse Awareness Month
Tomorrow, April 2, the State of Texas will conduct a statewide emergency alert system test. Families may receive alerts on their mobile devices, televisions, or radios.

Please note that Howe ISD will only send one informational message through our Thrillshare system (text, email and phone call) as part of this test.

This is only a test of public safety systems, and no action is required.
As always, Howe ISD regularly tests its own communication systems to ensure we can reach families quickly in the event of real emergencies.
