    Howe ISD Parents and Community,

     

    The Howe Middle School Administration was made aware of a potential threat to school safety.  The school administration has taken action and is continuing to investigate statements made.   The Howe ISD Police and City of Howe PD were notified and will respond accordingly under the law.  Howe Middle School is taking the reports seriously and will continue to work towards a safe school environment.  If your student hears of additional statements including potential violence, please notify the school.

    There has been information received about a potential threat to school safety at Howe HS. After an investigation we have learned that threatening comments were made and the student making those comments will not return to the High School campus for an indefinite period of time. The Howe ISD Police and City of Howe PD were notified and will respond accordingly under the law. We would like to again say if you hear of any threats to school safety to contact the school administration or Howe ISD police immediately.

U.S. Congressman Visits Summit Hill Elementary

                             U.S. Congressman John Ratcliffe presents flag to Summit Hill Elementary

     

    On Friday, August 30th U.S. Congressman John Ratcliffe visited Summit Hill Elementary.  He presented an official flag flown over the Captial Building in Washington D.C. that will serve as Summit Hill Elementary's flag in the front of the school.  Congressman Ratcliffe also toured the brand new facility and talked with various teachers and students.  Howe ISD was honored to host U.S. Congressman John Ratcliffe for the day!
