All School Reunion 2015
We had a great reunion on September 18 & 19, with over 225 attendees over three different events. We had Ex-Students ranging from the class of 1935 to newly graduated students of 2015! To top off the visiting and sharing, the Beatles tribute band "A Hard Night's Day" gave an awesome concert to benefit the Howe Ex-Student Scholarship fund. The concert raised over $2000 to benefit Howe students as they further their education.1938 Movie of Howe School Discovered
We were contacted recently by a lady in the area who had purchased a movie reel on eBay that was part of the Arthur J. Higgins film collection. Shot in December of 1938, it shows Mr. Higgins helping students out the door and encouraging them to wave at the camera. The film affords a marvelous look back in time at Howe, Texas in 1938!(Click here to view the video)
