The mission of the Howe ISD Athletic Department is to develop all our student-athletes into productive, competitive individuals. Our programs are designed to include all students who have the desire and the ability to participate in University Interscholastic League sports which promote individual and team development. Our student-athletes will be expected to display the standards of good sportsmanship and respect for our competitors.

The Howe ISD Bulldogs have a long tradition of winning in all sports, garnering championships in football, boys’ and girls’ basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, track and golf. In addition, the athletic program in our district has a rich tradition which has produced many outstanding student-athletes who have gone on to excel in college and in their careers. Through the value of athletics, our students will develop leadership skills and the value of teamwork.
