Welcome to the PTA!
"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." - Helen Keller
A Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a formal organization composed of parents, teachers, students and staff that is intended to facilitate family involvement in a school. PTA is the oldest, largest, child advocacy association in the country, providing a history and accomplishments that support the connection between effective engagement and academic achievement for all children. It is a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.
The Howe ISD PTA works toward making every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to provide a voice for our community and children to advocate for a higher level of engagement and communication within our school district.
