Accelerated Reader
A.R. Fun Time: -End of each six week, activity is determined by grade level.
-Student must meet AR goal for the six week.
A.R. Blowout: -For the year.
-Inflatables / Organized play in the middle school gym.
-Kinder – fourth students must meet AR goals set by the classroom teacher for four of the six 6 week periods.
Attendance
Ø Each day the class is 100%, the class will place the class's name in a drawing for free ice cream on Friday.
Ø Students who have perfect attendance for the six weeks will be eligible for prizes through a drawing.
Ø Students who miss no more than 5 days for the year will attend the Attendance Extravaganza Trip in May. This includes tardies and leaving early.
Attendance Extravaganza Trip:
Coordinators: Mrs. Hunt & Mrs. Shadden
Trip to Fairview Park in Sherman
(includes a picnic, games, extended play time)
Building Bulldog Character
Ø Students will receive Bulldog Bucks for random acts of kindness, setting a good example, or following directions and school procedures.
Ø Bulldog Bucks maybe redeemed in the Nurse’s office:
Exceptional Behavior
Ø Students with no marks (each six weeks) will receive a “dog tag”
Ø Classics Day (each six weeks)
Each six weeks student names will be published for those students who meet the following criteria:
Ø Kinder- Second -No more than 4 yellows per six weeks
Ø Third – Fourth – No more than 3 yellows & or homework warnings per six weeks
Ø No colors beyond yellow per six weeks
Ø No ISS anytime during the year or taken off the school bus
Ø No Principal referral with an assigned consequence

Trip to Celebration Park in Allen
Honor Roll A & A/B
Ø Grade level assembly to recognize students
Ø Students will receive pens/pencils
Ø Names in paper
Math
Math Fun Time: -End of each six week, activity is determined by grade level.

-Water Inflatables / organized games at the softball field.
-Kinder – fourth students must meet math goals set by the classroom teacher for four of the six 6 week periods.
“Top Dog”
Each Friday teachers will select a student from their classroom who had displayed excellence in academics and or behavior for the week. Student’s recognition certificate or work sample will be displayed on the “Top Dog” board weekly.
Ø Students will receive a pencil
Ø Weekly picture in paper.
Student of the Month
Teachers will recognize two students, boy/girl, each month from their grade level.
Ø Special lunch.
Ø Picture in hallway, paper.
