Howe Middle School Accelerated Reader Program

Students will read and take quizzes over AR books of their choice.  Books must be on or above the students reading level (determined through AR STAR test)

Students will receive 2 grades per 6 weeks from AR reading:

• 1 daily grade from comprehension average
  
• 1 test grade from points acquired:
  

10 points = 100
9 points = 90
8 points = 80
7 points = 70
6 points = 60
5 points = 50
4 points = 40
3 points = 30
2 points = 20
1 point = 10
